"I was just thinking that you smell very good..." He seemed serious. "Really, you smell very nice."
Although she heard him perfectly fine, she laughed dodging the compliment. "I thought you said I smell gross at first!" They both laughed.
He leaned forward on the edge of the table so his face was close to hers. Hm?
"You have very pretty eyes, you know," he said softly, not taking his eyes off of her wide brown eyes. "Your lashes are so long."
He inched closer. "Mascara?" She squeaked as his nose touched hers. She leaned forward into the kiss, mind scattering to remember to close her eyes. His lips were soft pressing against hers.
The kiss lasted only for a few seconds, but to her, it seemed like forever before he pulled back, grinning. She stared back at him, wide eyed.
"You know, I'd wanted to do that since I met you," he said laughing. "I didn't think it would ever happen."
"Me neither..." Her voice trailed off as she turned away, trying to process the moment.
"Look, I'm sorry if that's not something you wanted," he said, getting up from the chair.
She turned back to him, blushing furiously. "No, I'm stunned, but mostly afraid. But I did like it."
"Why are you afraid?"
"Because I wanted it for so long too." She tugged on his sleeve to stay with her. His eyes widened for a second, but then smiled as he sat back down.
